I’ve been looking for a photo of this forever - my favorite Christmas gift ever as a little kid. Finally I remembered it came from the Sears catalog and did a search. And here she is! This doll came with EVERYTHING! She was the coolest ever!!! I don’t remember if the 1980 version was the one I got, but it looks pretty much how I remember it (if not even more awesome!) I had that red trunk for a long time. And I totally remember the duck sponge and the real bar of ivory soap!
Sometimes with a Christmas gift (if you can only ask for one thing) it’s about quantity over quality. :)
